Description

Highgate Group is an established supplier of food processing and packaging solutions, supplying a large range of consumables and equipment to food processors across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for generating new business in the Sydney area and increasing the share of wallet with regional clients across New South Wales.

This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week.

About The Role:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follow up cold and warm leads, and leads generated from marketing campaigns
  • Proactive telephone sales calls to generate sales opportunities
  • 3-4 Days per Week F2F in the market and ability to travel to regional NSW
  • Customer site visits to progress and develop sales opportunities and grow share of wallet
  • Coordinated follow-up of contacts and opportunities
  • Respond to and resolve customer queries in a timely manner
Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to Open doors and start new client relationships
  • Track record of Business Development expertise
  • Ability to listen to understand customer needs and requirements
  • Time Management & Planning expertise
  • Results-focused and self-motivated
  • Professional presentation and approach
  • Intermediate computer skills

Experience/Behaviours:

  • Ability to demonstrate how you have meet and exceeded sales targets
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn and possess a positive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude
