Description

Our portfolio is a mix of commercial construction projects, office fit-outs and the design and manufacture of transportable amenities, cabins and housing within the Riverina region and surrounds.

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Estimator to join our team. We prefer someone who has worked in the Construction industry with extensive estimating experience. You will join a great team who thrives on solving problems and getting things done quickly.

About The Role:

Tasks & responsibilities

Coordinating construction costs from feasibility through to delivery
Contract preparation and execution
Assist Sales Team with any pricing and variation requests
Manage all RFI's and change requests within project management system
Management of variations, extensions of time and progress claims in accordance with the contract
Preparation and issuing of Tender Documentation
Cost analysis and negotiations
Preparation and presentation of project estimates and contract estimates
Evaluate and ensure drawing and specification accuracy
Support office staff when required

Requirements

Qualifications & experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Estimating (Construction) in Australia
Appropriate qualifications in a relevant discipline in Building and Construction
Sound understanding of contract administration and tender coordination with an analytical approach
Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills & attention to detail
Proven experience identifying potential cost savings
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Microsoft Suite with particular strength using Word and Excel
Experience using project management software and estimating would be a plus
Have a great personality and enjoy a dynamic work environment
