Our portfolio is a mix of commercial construction projects, office fit-outs and the design and manufacture of transportable amenities, cabins and housing within the Riverina region and surrounds.

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Estimator to join our team. We prefer someone who has worked in the Construction industry with extensive estimating experience. You will join a great team who thrives on solving problems and getting things done quickly.

About The Role:

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Coordinating construction costs from feasibility through to delivery
  • Contract preparation and execution
  • Assist Sales Team with any pricing and variation requests
  • Manage all RFI's and change requests within project management system
  • Management of variations, extensions of time and progress claims in accordance with the contract
  • Preparation and issuing of Tender Documentation
  • Cost analysis and negotiations
  • Preparation and presentation of project estimates and contract estimates
  • Evaluate and ensure drawing and specification accuracy
  • Support office staff when required

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Estimating (Construction) in Australia
  • Appropriate qualifications in a relevant discipline in Building and Construction
  • Sound understanding of contract administration and tender coordination with an analytical approach
  • Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & attention to detail
  • Proven experience identifying potential cost savings
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Suite with particular strength using Word and Excel
  • Experience using project management software and estimating would be a plus
  • Have a great personality and enjoy a dynamic work environment
