Our client INTEX is a world leader in Walls & Ceilings and has built a global team with Head Office in Melbourne to support their international clients and resellers.

We are currently seeking a People and Culture Manager for their team and as a key member of the leadership team in this organisation, you will work closely with the Managing Director to provide support to the business ensuring a positive employee experience, supporting the development of the company’s people strategy.

About The Role:
  • Providing timely day-to-day HR advice, support and consultancy to managers and employees in workforce planning, job design, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, conflict resolution, and off-boarding
  • Partner with management and all staff across the organisation to provide guidance and support on all aspects of HR
  • Provide and manage WHS policies and procedures (Experience in WHS is vital to ensure your success)
  • Be prepared to develop and implement the necessary processes and systems to deliver HR & Culture excellence
  • Support executive, management and employees in the interpretation and adherence in the application of relevant awards and legislation and/or other industrial agreements
  • Contribute to the development and review of HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of HR documentation with appropriate storage
Requirements
  • Ideally, 5 years of experience in a People & Culture or HR Managers role in a standalone capacity will have developed your confidence and creativity
  • Experience in OH&S compliance framework
  • Experience with WHS policies and procedures is vital to ensure your success in this role
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering Practical HR operational solutions
  • Excellent coaching skills at both an organisational and individual level
  • Sound project management, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, professional, and people-focused approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that develop trust and confidence in HR
  • A “Can Do” attitude and display the values of being Hungry, Humble & Smart
  • Strong computer, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
